A bluebird recently visited my house. I'm not sure if he liked his reflection, or if he thought it was a competitor.

Evening Hike on the Grand Marais Breakwall
Message to regular blog followers: As you know I have not been posting on this blog lately. I must admit I am trying to simplify my life, so I have decided to not post as much as I have in the past. Thanks for your understanding.
To celebrate summer solstice, last night I walked to the end of the breakwall for sunset. It was a beautiful evening!
Looking east….
Heading out to the end of the breakwall….
Sand build up has buried a sign...
Sunset....
Looking west....
One guy and three kids were fishing...
The damage at the end of the breakwall is the same as it was last year.
Beach fires at first creek, taken with my zoom lens.
