Mushrooms, Mushrooms, and More Mushrooms

While on the Chapel-Mosquito hike we noticed more mushrooms that I have ever seen -- anytime of the year. For the past six years we have had a summer draught so you rarely saw a mushroom. Even in the fall they have been fewer than in past years. That was not the case on the Sunday hike a week and a half ago. Mushrooms were evident everywhere. Below are just a few examples.
