Today I'll post the second half of the pictures I took during the hike in the School forest a couple of days ago.
All the pictures below were taken after I reached the shore after walking the three mile trail. Although there were 8-10 foot waves, it was not windy on the bluff.
Notice the snow squall out over the lake in the center of the picture.
There was a lone log out in the surf zone. Below are a couple of close ups of the ice on the log, and then more pictures as I pulled back on the zoom.
I was wondering what the flat sandy like things were on the beach. They are iceberg embryos. It won't be long before the shore is completely iced in.
