For today's post I decided to drive over to Agate Beach and walk out the boardwalk to check on beach conditions. There is shore ice mounded off shore, but hardly any snow on the beach.
As I drove through town, I captured this shot of snowmobiles that seem isolated from the snow. Actually, with the route going through Woodland Park, there is snow until you get right down town.
There is almost no snow at the boardwalk.
Sometimes the snow melt makes for great contrast photography.
The shore ice is around eight feet tall.
A shot looking west toward sunset.
A couple of shots of the north channel lighthouse.
A wide shot of the beach showing lack of snow. Normally, this time of year I love to ski down the beach. Not this year.
