Larry and Marcy were walking along a road in the Keweenaw Peninsula several years ago. Marcy noticed a little green color popping out of the newly graded road. When they started digging, they found a huge piece of float copper that weighs more than 100 pounds. Sitting on top are other smaller pieces of copper they have also found.
A fine specimen of Ocean Jasper from Madagascar...
More specimens on shelves....
Incredible. A nice reminder to display one's collection for all to appreciate rather than stuffing it in a box in a closet to gather dust and cobwebs.
