Incredible Marquette House

When ever I have an art show in Marquette, I am fortunate to be able to stay with my friends, Helen and Jimmy. Their house was built in the 1800s, but has been incredibly maintained and restored. It looks now like they are going to build a new house on their other property that has more acreage. So they asked me to take a few pictures that they can use next year when they start selling the house. I would like to share a few of these pictures with you. If anyone is interested in buying this fantastic, well-maintained house in Marquette, located a block or so from the hospital and from the Northern Michigan University campus, please let me know.

The living room, looking toward the master bedroom.  Notice the half-circle agate window that I made for Helen and Jim several years ago.

The master bedroom has been completely refurbished.  The wood in this bedroom is all birds eye maple.

There is a huge walk in closet with a sky light.

There are several original leaded glass windows in the house.

Here is the stairway going  upstairs.

On the second floor there are three bedrooms, a bathroom, a TV room, and a sun room.
