Ice Shanty Removal
In Grand Marais there is a new symbol of spring. For the first time in decades, due to the new breakwall, we had thick ice that allowed locals to install ice shanties. There were a couple of dozen shanties that were up all winter, and occasionally pop up temporary shanties. But as of March 31st, everyone had to remove their shanties from the bay. I'm glad that everyone had fun fishing on Grand Marais bay all winter long. I stopped by the marina and documented the removed shanties that are off the ice, but still at the marina. Apparently it is a rule that you have to have the names of the shanty owners clearly written on the outside of the shanties.
Nice work , so i wanna more appreciate to you or that.
