Agates Close Up

My acquaintance from Ontario had several of the Michipicoten agates cut as well as a few he chopped out of basalt on the east shore of Lake Superior.  I also had a couple of cool Brazilian agates sitting around.  So I decided to get my USB microscope out.

First, the cut but non-polished surface of a Michipicoten agate.
