Although the calendar now says spring, you would not have known that in Grand Marais. We had two different snow storms this week. The first picture is of a raven trying to eat the frozen apples still on the tree.
This blog displays scenic photos taken from around Grand Marais, MI. Photos of rockhounding and nature adventures are also posted. Information is included about the Gitche Gumee Agate and History Museum and other scientific subjects. For more information about the museum and our unique mineral art, books, DVDs, and Online rockhounding classes please go to www.agatelady.com.

Escanaba Show and More Winter
It is hard for me to believe, but my first show of the year happened quicker than I expected. I am in Escanaba this weekend at the TV6 Art Show, located at the UP State Fairgrounds in Escanaba, MI. The venue is the Butler Building. Show hours today are 10-6. Sunday the hours are 11-4. If you live in the area -- come on down!
