Grand Sable Dunes Hike and Picnic

Last evening I went on a hike and had a picnic with friends, Jamey and Lois Fite.  I just love the sand dunes!

We accessed the dunes with a 15 minute hike down the Masse homestead trail. 

Spring hiking requires bug-resistant gear...

There are still a few trilliums....

It was a bit foggy up in the dunes.  The following photos show the views from our picnic spot.
