Agate and Jasper Microscope Close Ups

For the first time in months I pulled my USB microscope camera out today.  It feels like a good morning to play with rocks.

The photo below shows the junction between microcrystalline and macrocrystalline quartz in a Lake Superior agate.

The mustard color is limonite coating.
