Agate Detail Up Close and Escanaba Booth

I arrived in Escanaba, MI yesterday for my first show of the year. Booth set up went smoothly. Here are a couple shots of the booth.

As is typical for a Friday night show, booth traffic was light.  I arrived back to my motel room and decided to play with the new USB powered camera.  I had the magnification set at 60,  Here are a few of the images.  All of the pictures are of natural Lake Superior unpolished or cut agates.

First, an agate with botryoidal structure.

Banding on the external surface of an agate....

A conchoidal fracture showing waxy luster.

An agate with some peeler structure as well as an eye.

Nice banding...
