Now that the museum is on fall hours, I am going to do a better job of getting outside for exercise. A couple of mornings ago I went to First Creek with friends, Jamey and Lois. It was a beautiful morning.
Looking west toward the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore....
Looking east toward town....
First Creek currently has a nice pool at its mouth. This is unusual for summer when usually the creek shrinks to a trickle. The recent rain we had must have made a difference.
Someone built a new tee-pee in front of Woodland Park.
I took the photo below from the end of Woodland Park looking east down Brazel Street, which is a few blocks west of the museum. They are now finished grading the road, but may not black top it until next week. I look forward to the completion of this road construction project.
