Lake Superior Bluff East of Grand Marais

Last week I drove with a friend east of town to drop off museum brochures at Muskallonge Lake State Park.  On the way back to Grand Marais, we checked out two areas that used to allow us access down to the shoreline.  Now, there are bluffs with cantilevered lips at the top, which would make it almost impossible to get back up.  There are also hundreds of trees that have fallen due to the massive erosion.   I think Lake Superior has always gotten bigger.
