I have spent this week cleaning the museum and getting the gift shop ready for the season. A rock club from down state is coming north and made an appointment, so I have everything ready to go early this year -- more than a week prior to the official opening on May 28th. Next week I will start working on the new history display, which will include items donated by the Grand Marais Tavern, which includes artifacts from the previous Sportsmans Restaurant.
