Last evening I walked from my driveway west to "four corners" and then south on William Hill Road. Here are some photos I took documenting the snow melt.
Granddaddy white birch along the side of the road.
Leaf floating in the drainage ditch.
Melting ice hanging over the drainage ditch.
This was a snow bridge over the snowmobile trail. I would not ride across it now!
After a season of snowmobiles, the snow on the trail is no longer white.
Drainage ditch waterfalls.....
No traffic at all. I did not see a single car.
Probably to cheer up these challenging times, my neighbor around the corner has left their Christmas lights on.
