Snow Melt Walk

Last evening I walked from my driveway west to "four corners" and then south on William Hill Road.  Here are some photos I took documenting the snow melt.

Granddaddy white birch along the side of the road.

Leaf floating in the drainage ditch.

Melting ice hanging over the drainage ditch.

This was a snow bridge over the snowmobile trail.  I would not ride across it now!

After a season of snowmobiles, the snow on the trail is no longer white.

Drainage ditch waterfalls.....

No traffic at all.  I did not see a single car.

Probably to cheer up these challenging times, my neighbor around the corner has left their Christmas lights on.
