Still More Winter Grand Marais Scenes

Still catching up.....here are some more winter scenes.  First, some photos during a cross country ski in the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.

Next a snowshoe in the Grand Sable Dunes.

As I rested at the end of the trek, the snowmobile trail groomer went by.

I had my snowplow service cut a path into the museum so I could carry in the shipment of the new book.

Beach snowshoe with my friend, Renee.

After some rain, the snow slid down my metal roof.

Here are a few photos I took in my yard.

And a couple of UP 200 photos.

More Winter Grand Marais Scenes

Still catching up, here are some more winter scenes.

Earlier in the winter I saw the deer every day.  Since the snow got deep, I have not seen them in at least a month.  I wonder where they go?

This is the scene outside my window much of this winter.

Even our local snow plow truck lost its way in a blizzard.

The snow completely surrounded my sun porch.

Snow depth on Coast Guard Point.

Snow depth on the south side of my house before my last roof raking.

Catching up: Winter Grand Marais Scenes

I have been in the mineral art making mold this past month.  I didn't realize until just now that I have not posted in my blog for quite some time.  My son, Jonathan, pointed it out to me.  So here I am -- catching up.

First some snow depth photos...

The bottom of the window below is seven feet off the ground.

Friends Rich, Marcia, and Tom O'Brien and I snowshoed the School Forest.

Snow pile in town...

The next day Marcia and I skied the School Forest.

Snow depth out on Coast Guard Point.

A barred owl was in my try next to my house.

Ice hanging from a roof (not my roof).
