Crawfish Festival and Sable Falls

Yesterday I took time off from making mineral art and attended the 7th annual crawfish festival.  It was a bit chilly out with temperatures in the low 30s, but a great time was had by all.

But then friends, Tom and Catherine, asked me if I wanted to go check out Sable Falls.  Of course!  It wasn't easy since the steps are still covered with snow and ice, but we went for it.

The beaver tried, but the tree would not fall since it was held up by another tree...

 

Several deer were hanging out in the field next to the Sable Falls parking lot.

It was a beautiful moon last night!
