School Forest skies and more

One of the days this past week, Helen Riley and I went cross country skiing in the Burt Township School Forest. I didn't think we would get any more skiing in this year, but we did! After the ski, we drove out to the end of Coast Guard Point to get a few photos of the ice in the channel and the lighthouse. The last two photos were taken a couple of days later when Marcia O'Brien and Lois Johnson Fite joined us. We had received several inches of new snow, so the conditions were quite sticky. However, it was quite the adventure skiing in heavy snow!

The first few photos were taken at the bridge in the school forest.  The next day all of the ice in the river was gone!
