Agate Collection Crawl -- Post 1

During the trip to Minnesota and Wisconsin, Jill and I had the pleasure to see several incredible agate and mineral collections.  Today I'll post the first set of photos.

First, an interesting rhyolite...

The agate below is a tremendous tube agate...
 
 
Some of the Lake Superior agates found inland in Minnesota are still fully covered with a husk.  The specimen below has one small "window" showing that there is agate on the inside.
 
 
I liked the angles in the corner of the room that was holding the agate collection, as well as a rare book collection.
