This past Friday we decided to hike the road down to Sable Lake Boat ramp road. It was a beautiful sunny day with temperatures in the upper 30s.
We parked at the nearest intersection and hiked down the road toward the boat ramp.
As usual, there were waterfalls and ice formations along the east side of the road.
Sable Lake is still completely ice covered.

It must have been quite the task for the road commission to plow this road. Some of the ice chunk boulders were as big as a kitchen table.
