July 45h in Grand Marais, MI

I didn't get a chance to post photos yesterday, nor earlier today due to a power outage (again).  But here we go -- I'll try now even though there is yet another thunderstorm out my window.

Thanks to my son and his wife (Jonathan and Jess) for taking photos while I was riding a bike in the parade wearing the 1800s bear coat.  The coat was originally owned by the U.S. Postal Service.  The employee who had to go by dog sled to get the mail for Grand Marais wore the bear coat to stay warm.  Yes, it was very hot.  I don't know how the museum founder, Axel, did it every year.

My grandson getting ready for the 4th....
