These first two photos made friend Wendy and I laugh. When we were walking in the dunes along the bluff, we came across this drainage area where snow melt had carved a drainage channel down the face of the dune. From the first perspective it looked like two birch trees had slid down the bluff and were standing straight up.
When we continued walking east, we saw the trees from another perspective. The trees were instead facing north and were not vertical at all.
This is the last ice on Sable Lake.
A close up of dune grass.
This is the last structure on the original Bell family property near Sable Falls. It was the dog house.
