The 29th annual Grand Marais Music and Arts Festival is happening this weekend. The weather was a little tentative in the afternoon with gusty winds and threatening rain. The rain never did really hit us and the winds died down in the evening, so a good time was had by all. My booth is in the back of the ball diamond in what would be left field. We have a great view of the stage.
For the past few years, festival starts with a parade.
There are vendor booths all along the fence surrounding the ball field. Here are just a few.
This is a couple of people in my booth.
This festival, like most, provides a great opportunity to people watch. Here are a couple of shots I took from the booth. I loved this women's finger nails.
A kid came by with a dog that squeezed out of this ball. I thought it was cute.
Those of you who have been visiting the Gitche Gumee Museum for years may remember Nick. He helped out at the museum starting when he was 8 years old. He is now all grown up and is a college student.
