Ice is Melting

Although the night time temperatures are still cold (around 30 degrees) the day time temperatures are reaching into the 40s.  This is causing a slow melt of the snow and ice.

Yesterday I snapped a few photos of the bay and the shoreline to document the melt.  First the boardwalk and shoreline at Agate Beach.

The high water mark and shoreline is still covered in ice, but below you can see two individuals looking through the rocks that are farther up the beach.

The bay...

It may look like water, but the bay is still covered in ice.
