On Thursday and Friday I completed the task of organizing the museum's gift shop inventory and setting up the gift shop. Then yesterday I had the first agate class of the year. I took the participants down the beach west of Woodland Park. There is still snow and ice lining the shore, but there is quite a bit of rock available for agate hunters.
There are lots of pile of rock that were dumped when shore ice melted. I call these "ice berg poops."
Then I headed south of town to the Green Haven to attend for the first time the Crawfish Festival. Thanks to Nick and Tara and all others who organized this event!
