Here are the last two photos I took from the beach level before I ran out of accessible beach.

Down near the beach level it was just a bit warmer due to the temperature of Lake Superior, which was warmer than the air mass. But up on top of the hill the lake does not exert as strong of a warming effect so the snow had not yet melted.
